Language Express

Before and After School Care

We offer afterschool care and pickup from area elementary schools during the school year. We currently pick up from the following schools:

  • Sanford Creek Elementary

  • Rolesville Elementary

  • Rolesville Charter Academy

 

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE

Providing our programs in a safe and engaging environment is LANGUAGE EXPRESS’s highest priority.


LANGUAGE EXPRESS provides many choices for before school and after school care. Our program will benefit not only your busy schedule but will ensure that your child is participating in activities that keep them engaged and will enrich their growth and development. 


The Before/After School Care Program at LANGUAGE EXPRESS offers care for students from 6:30am-8:30am, while our After School Program provides each student with a structured and well-rounded program of activities during the hours of 3:30-7:00pm.

 

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Fun with French and Spanish

  • Crafts or Art creation

  • Homework assistance (Make sure they are on task)

  • Educational games

Holidays and other closings
LANGUAGE EXPRESS will be closed on all holidays observed by the Wake and Franklin Counties and will not prorate for federal holidays. The program is closed on the following days:
 

New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, 
Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, 
President's Day, Labor Day, 

Good Friday, 
Memorial Day, 

Juneteenth,
Fourth of July, 

Labor Day, 

Veterans Day,
Thanksgiving holidays (including the day before and after Thanksgiving), 
Christmas Day (including the day before and after Christmas)

Cancellation on snow days will be relayed through our google page, email, Facebook and on local news channels.

 

Late pick-Up:​

  • A fee of  $1 per minute will be added if any child is picked up after closing time (7:00pm).

  • If a child is not picked up by closing time, and there is no communication from the parent/guardian, the Police Department will be notified.

 

Continuous late pick-up will result in removal from the program.

 

Withdrawing from LANGUAGE EXPRESS:

  • A written notice must be submitted two weeks prior to a child’s last day of attendance.

  • Re-entry into the program at a later time will be available only if space permits.

HOURS and RATES:

 

Before School:

Monday-Friday | 6:30am - School Start

$80.00/week

$75/week for each additional sibling

​

After School:

Monday-Friday | School End - 7:00pm

$115.00/week

$100/week for each additional sibling

​

Before and After School:

Monday-Friday

$135.00/week 

$125/week for each additional sibling

​

  • There is a $55 registration fee per child.

  • Registration non-refundable*

  • No refunds for partial or missed days. Fees do not roll over into another month or Language Express drop-in services if not used in full.

  • Any late pick up after 7pm will be charged $1 per minute. 

  • Payments are due on Mondays.

  • The weekly rate includes pick up from school and four hours of after school care for 5 consecutive days.

  • On early release days, children will be picked up at the time they get out and get the 4 hours of care included in the day. Anytime after that would be charge the hourly rate.
